Wisteria (Hygrophila difformis)

I have found much success in this bright green easy to grow plant. It requires moderate light to really show full potential and CO2 as well as a quality fertilizer are also great for it, but not required. It can grow horizontal as well as vertical, or some of both as it does in my tank. The lighting and other things determine the way this plant will grow. It always seems to be shooting new growth to both the sides and height. It is generally used as a background plant, though if it grows horizontal in your setup it can create almost a carpet as shown in the pics below.
